The Children's Trust in Tadworth is another of my long standing favourite Charities and I was honoured to be able to take along our High sheriff to see first hand the great work they do with Children that have acquired brain injuries and are undergoing rehabilitation therapy to enable a better quality of life.

It was also National Volunteers Week so was a good opportunity to meet some of the Volunteers including a lovely chap, affectionately known as 'Grandad' who travels weekly from Hertfordshire to help ever since his own Grand Daughter spent time under the care of the Children's Trust. He is pictured here with the High Sheriff, Robert Napier and Millie-May who is currently being looked after.

The High Sheriff toured some of the facilities and met with Chief Executive - Dalton Leong (below)

There are many ways in which you can support the Children's Trust and help them to continue the extensive work the do not only in Tadworth but on a nationwide scale - for more information go to www.thechildrenstrust.org.uk
