Less than a year ago my photographer pal Pete tried to persuade me that mirrorless cameras were the future. Having a Nikon D4s that cost almost as much as s small car I was not convinced! However one day I trailed one and was impressed enough to investigate further. The upshot was that I bought a Fujicolour XT1 and now use it for a good percentage of my work. Recently I used it in the theatre - the electronic shutter meaning I was invisible where before the click of my shutter was unavoidable. If you would have said I would be using it for magazine work I'd have scoffed but here is the latest cover of Surrey Life Magazine, taken with the Fuji. I guess you could say I ended up eating my words. ;)
